Earth and Sky Breakfast

If the earth stands for all things interior and the sky external, what to make of these? Can I rim a sky with soil and keep it bound? A dome, reversed, becomes a vessel.

Pots in this series are glazed with a vibrant, flux-y blue over a very dark brown, unglazed clay body. Without regard for proper places.
